The medical masseur has in-depth knowledge based on the medical foundations and related treatment methods. He draws from his entire repertoire and selects all those types of massage suitable for the current ailment and adapts them to the patient. Depending on the problem he uses classic massage, connective tissue massage, reflex zone massage of the foot, or lymphatic drainage.
Medical massage treatment improves circulation and metabolism in the muscles, connective tissue and muscle fascia. Mechanical stimuli remove dead skin cells and increase blood circulation in the tissues.
