Lymphdrainage Rücken

Lymphatic drainage

A particular type of massage, lymphatic drainage is a manual technique aimed at promoting the drainage of lymphatic fluids from the tissues, with the consequent elimination of the various toxins that have accumulated.

Lymph is a fluid composed mostly of water, salts, lymphocytes and proteins, and cleans the body of metabolic waste that accumulates in the tissues. This follows a path interspersed with some rest areas, called lymphatic ganglia: here the lymph eliminates toxic residues and continues its circulation between the various tissues.

The benefits of the massage are:

  • Reduces swelling and promotes the drainage of excess fluids
  • Fights water retention.
  • Promotes cellular oxygenation.
  • Reduces pain and facilitate the reabsorption of edema and lymphedema linked to various circumstances (such as trauma or surgery).
  • Regulates the autonomic nervous system.
  • Helps in the healing process of sores and ulcers in diabetics.
  • Increases physical and mental well-being after each session.
